The YUMIX 4000E chassis is a carrier for all E modules and can be mounted in either NEBS or ETSI compliant racks with corresponding adaptors. It holds up to 8 4-port line-cards with client and line interfaces,
two filter cards, one cross-connect card, and one management card. All modules are hot pluggable and accessible from the front. The fiber optic cabling and power cords are also attached at the front of the system. Space saving back to back installation of the Main chassis is possible due to its depth of only 27 cm.
